Lamoille Housing Partnership Annual Meeting

The annual membership meeting of Lamoille Housing Partnership, Inc. will be held October 14, 2025 at 26 Hutchins St, Morrisville from 3:30 pm – 4:15 pm. At the meeting, members will consider the proposed corporate affiliation between LHP and Downstreet Housing and Community Development, Inc. If approved, LHP will become a subsidiary of Downstreet. The purpose of the affiliation is to gain efficiency in governance and management to more effectively serve the Central Vermont community.
The affiliation will be accomplished by amending our bylaws, with the following key changes:
- Downstreet will become the sole member of LHP. Individual members will no longer hold membership.
- Downstreet will have the right to appoint the Board of Trustees of LHP, and the current Board of Trustees of Downstreet will serve as the Board of LHP.
- The bylaws will be revised to be substantially similar to Downstreet’s bylaws, except where differences are required by law or to preserve LHP’s role as subsidiary.
Members will be asked to vote on the proposed bylaw amendments to implement this affiliation. We encourage all members to attend this important meeting and to ask any questions you may have about the proposed affiliation before the vote is taken.
