Bianchi-Herbert Apartments comprises two buildings, including seven one-bedroom, nine two-bedroom, and two two-bedroom apartments. The project includes ten units that are set aside for permanent supportive housing for the formerly homeless, and two apartments are accessible. Bianchi is a historic building and originally housed granite workers from Barre and Montpelier, and later was operated as an auto parts store. Downstreet carried out extensive environmental work to achieve housing standards.
