Downstreet is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will cheerfully handle a wide range of administrative tasks requiring varying levels of skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete administrative tasks on behalf of the Executive Director and senior management team members.
- Manage office administration needs.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication, providing prompt and professional responses.
- Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain updated manual for Board of Trustees and manage Board communications as directed.
- Plan and oversee execution of administrative projects on behalf of the organization.
- Communicate effectively with team members and support an overall positive working environment for all staff.
- Support event planning and execution.
- Coordinate IT needs of staff and organization.
- Other relevant responsibilities as assigned.
Experience and Education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other relevant software.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, employment, and life experience.
- Highly organized with a strong ability to manage priorities and deadlines and ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to equity and inclusion and social and economic justice.
- Valid Vermont Driver’s License and personal vehicle.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer
- Must be able to climb stairs and lift 25 pounds at a time
Compensation
This is a full-time position. Salary: $53,000 - $56,000 annually.
