We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team!

Downstreet is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will cheerfully handle a wide range of administrative tasks requiring varying levels of skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete administrative tasks on behalf of the Executive Director and senior management team members.
  • Manage office administration needs.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication, providing prompt and professional responses.
  • Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain updated manual for Board of Trustees and manage Board communications as directed.
  • Plan and oversee execution of administrative projects on behalf of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and support an overall positive working environment for all staff.
  • Support event planning and execution.
  • Coordinate IT needs of staff and organization.
  • Other relevant responsibilities as assigned.

Experience and Education

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other relevant software.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, employment, and life experience.
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to manage priorities and deadlines and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to equity and inclusion and social and economic justice.
  • Valid Vermont Driver’s License and personal vehicle.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer
  • Must be able to climb stairs and lift 25 pounds at a time

Compensation

This is a full-time position. Salary: $53,000 - $56,000 annually.
